Joe Ann Epperly Britt

March 19, 1933 - March 22, 2026

Joe Ann Epperly Britt, 93, of Christiansburg, passed away on Sunday March 22, 2026. She retired from Federal Mogul after 29 years of service. Her passion was bowling and she continued competing in leagues until she wasn’t able to participate anymore. She was preceded in death by one brother: Bob Jones (Josephine); one sister: Dolly Harmon (Ward); former spouse: Frank Britt. She is survived by one daughter: Patricia Swain (Bobby); special nephew: Bobby Jones, Jr.; “other daughter”: Kristi Shaw. A host of nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Garden at 11 :00 AM on Friday March 27, 2026. The family will receive friends on Friday March 27, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd, VA. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to the local rescue squad, humane society, or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Hall and ACG Hospice for the care they gave Mrs. Britt.
