Frank Vernon Link, 85, of Check passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009. He retired after many years of service at Norfolk Southern Railroad. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Flora Link; sister, Irene Janney. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Laura Yates Link; niece, Judy Boothe; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Gardner Funeral Home with Elder W. T. Conner officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery.
