Ashton P. Underwood, Jr.

August 15, 1940 - December 08, 2015

Ashton P Underwood, Jr. left this earthly home to live in Heaven, on Tuesday, December 8th, 2015. He was surrounded by his wife of 55 years, Patricia, his eldest grandson Ryan, his daughter Dawn and son Adam. He joins his parents Ashton P. and Cornelia (Turk) Underwood, Sr and his brother Theron Underwood and sister-in-law Sharon Underwood. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Patricia, sons- Mark, Jason (Sandy) and Adam Underwood, daughter Dawn (Troy) MacWoodard-Vladyka, and grandchildren, Ryan MacWoodard-Vladyka, Isabella Underwood, Cora MacWoodard-Vladyka, Vivian Underwood, Owen MacWoodard-Vladyka, Melissa Underwood, Jonathan Underwood, brothers- P.A. Underwood, Harry Underwood, Joseph (Laureen) Underwood, and baby sister Jane Curd. Brothers-in-law- Richard, Andre (Barbara) and Warren Dubreuil. Special cousin Charles Reese (Enis), nephews- Keith, Aaron, Kevin, Jeremy, Shaun, Rick, nieces-Jodie, Amber, Leander, Becky, Monique, Joy, numerous great-nephews and great-nieces and many cousins. A Memorial will be held at 4pm on Sunday, December 13, 2015, at the Gardner Funeral Home in Floyd VA with visitation one hour before service time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Floyd County High School Band Boosters 721 Baker St Floyd, VA 24091.
