Brian Russel Klock

September 16, 1956 - April 15, 2016

Brian Russel Klock, 59, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on April 15, 2016 at his girlfriend’s home in Floyd Virginia. Brian was born in Pueblo, Colorado, on September 16, 1956, son of the late Philip and Dorothy Klock. He is survived by his girlfriend, Rima Forrest, his 2 brothers Arthur and Larry Klock, and his five sisters, Evelyn Barnett, Barbara Fanelli, Charlotte Klock, Kathy Pankonin, and Cheryl Klock. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, spouses of his siblings, and cousins; all of which were greatly touched by Brian’s love. Brian served proudly in the U.S. Coast Guard and had a degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University-Pueblo. Brian was a kind, gentle soul who could make you feel uniquely special. He always made sure to make time for you, and to reach out no matter how much time passed. We will miss hearing the stories about his time in the Coast Guard, his river trips, his cross country road trips, his contra dancing, seeing his beautiful photography, and his love of adventure, travel, and nature. A celebration of life memorial will be held in Denver, Colorado at a later time yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, Brian would have wanted you all to reach out to your own friends and family and share a special hug and smile and to take a long walk in nature and be thankful for the small things that touch you every day.
