May Belle Weeks

November 18, 1918 - April 26, 2016

May Belle Hundley Weeks was called up by our Heavenly Father on April 26,2016 at the age of 97, she was born on November 18, 1918. May was an avid gardener and a master quilter, even in her last few months. Her family will cherish their Keepsakes for years to come, she was proceeded in death by her Husband Charlie Weeks and Daughter Nancy Ellen. She is survived by her Daughters and Spouses, Zylphia and Charles Collins, Mary Sue and Gaynor Collins and Special Companion Trixie, Grandchildren Clint Collins and Catey, Daphne and Joseph Rakes, Lurleen Collins, Lisa and Eric Richards, Greg and Teresa Collins. Seven Great-Grandchildren and Four Great-Great Grandchildren, Special Caregivers Janice Smith and Clarissa Fountain. Funeral Services will be at 1 PM Saturday April 30 at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Watson and Pastor Roy Turpin officiating, Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. Friends may call after 6 PM Friday April 29 at Gardner Funeral Home where the Family will be from 6 until 8 PM. Our deepest sympathy to the family. Mrs. Weeks was a lovely lady. When our grandchildren were little they loved playing in her yard. They called it Mr. Weeks' farm.

Granny was the sweetest lady we have ever know,,she was a great neighbor and our grandchildren considered her their granny,,we loved her entire family and she will be missed so much,,sing with the Angels sweet lady
