Donna Marie Griffith,55, of Floyd went to be with her heavenly father Sunday September 11, 2016 with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband Larry Griffith, two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jennifer Weeks, Steven Weeks, step daughter and son-in-law Beth and Matt Burgess, 4 grandchildren, Jena Weeks, Tyler Weeks, Ryleigh Weeks, Raylan Burgess, brothers Freddie Sutphin, Dennis Sutphin, James Lawson, father-in-law & mother-in-law, Richard and Betty Griffith, brother-in-law & spouse Dean & Keron Griffith. Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 14, 2016 at 2PM at Gardner Funeral Home with Rev. James Cockram officiating. Interment will follow at Lee Cemetery Tuggles Gap. With love and deepest sympathy to each one of you.I am so sorry for everything that she has had to endure for the past good little while, which also meant each of you were suffering ,too.The most painful thing for anyone to endure is a loved one hurting , and not being able to do anything to change it.I feel for each one of you, and know from experience that the one thing that can and does give you comfort is the knowledge that she is nolonger in pain of any kind, and she is with the Lord, where each of you can also get to be reunited once again ,thanks to the wonderful love and provisions God has made for each of us to also be in heaven ,when He calls us home. My prayer for so many years has been for the Good Lord to just come call out the church , so we could all go to heaven at the same time, and not leave anyone behind to suffer. But it is not up to us to make that call,so in the meantime, I am here to let you know you are not alone. Larry and boys, I am so sorry to hear about my niece she was special and beautiful she didn't look like my sister Dora, she took after the Sutphin's I will never forget her. Rip Donna and Larry may God be with you, Steven and Michael.

So sorry for your loss and sorry we were not there today for support.we are on vacation and never dreamed of hearing this ,the last I talked with Donna she sounded so upbeat and encouraged the infusions were the answer so sorry it wasn't . Our prayers are with you all the heaven surly gained another angle and there's no suffering there.
