Virginia Pauline Boyd

August 03, 1934 - April 24, 2017

Virginia Pauline Boyd, 82, of Floyd, went to be with the Lord on Monday April 24, 2017. She was preceded in death by one son: Ricky Boyd, her parents: Wilton and Dessie Trail; and two brothers: Hubert and Harley Trail. She is survived by her husband of 63 years: Glendon Boyd; daughter: Patricia Spangler (David); daughter-in-law: Alicia Boyd: four grandchildren: Julie Harris (Adam), Amy Boyd, Lori Phillips (Bradley), Arthur Boyd; five great grandchildren: Tyler Harris, Elayna Harris, Aiden Boyd, Jonathan Phillips, and Emily Phillips; three sisters: Mary Hylton (Junior), Polly Boyd (Roger), Dorothy Yoder (John); two brothers: Alvie Trail (Katherine), Gilbert Trail (Linda). Funeral services will be Thursday April 27, 2017 at 11 AM at Gardner Funeral Home with Rev. John Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Cannaday Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 pm Wednesday at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 5 until 7 PM. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Floyd County Rescue Squad.

She was a really sweet lady. I enjoyed working for Glendon and the family.They are great people to work for!...I will miss her greatly,but I know she is in a better place now,and In no more pain....praise the lord!..rejoice in that...with great love,Margaret
