Ethel Underwood Radford, 95, of Floyd, VA went home to heaven on December 6, 2010. She was born on July 18, 1915. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Swanson Radford whom she was married to for 73 years. Two sons, Leonard and Harry Lee, three grandsons, James Robert, Danny, and Timmy, one granddaughter, Alisa, and one great-granddaughter, Becky preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Jean Radford, Roger and Sally Radford; one daughter and son-in-law Doris and Chris Dickerson; Daughter-in-Law Sadie Radford; eight grandchildren, Paul and Debbie Radford, Jane Radford, Venda and Garrett Keith, Linda and Paul Goad, Lynn and Scott Wimmer, Amanda and Colen Bishop, Darrell and Susan Dickerson, and Janice and Kenny Cox. 20 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Leon Wood officiating. Interment will follow at the Williams Cemetery.
