L.C. Vernon Vest

L.C. Vernon Vest, 90, went home to Jesus on Sunday May 13, 2018. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Ethelene Gearheart Vest, 2nd wife Gladys Dickerson Vest, and a granddaughter Hope Vest. He is survived by 3 daughters; Diann Conner (Clinton), of Pilot Va., Carolyn Vest of Myrtle Beach SC., Cindy Vest (Danny) of Floyd Va., stepdaughter Linda Turpin (Ray) of Willis, Va., stepson Donnie Cromer of Floyd, Va., 4 sisters; Vera Clower, Marie WImmer, Kaula Dowdy, Clara Southern (Leo) all of Christiansburg, Va., 1 brother Lee Roy Vest (Carol) of Pilot, Va., several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 11 am Wednesday May 16, 2018 at Gardner Funeral Home in Floyd with the funeral following at 1pm. Burial will be at Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, donations would be appreciated to Floyd Co. Rescue Squad in his remembrance.
