Eleanor L. Tremblett, 71, of Floyd, passed away October 2, 2018. Eleanor is survived by her Husband of 31 years Paul Tremblett. Funeral Services will be Friday October 5, 2018 at 11 AM at Gardner Funeral Home with Rev. Robert McLavey officiating. Interment will be Friday at 1PM in Sherwood Memorial Park Salem, Va. I am so very sorry for your loss. I work at LewisGail Hospital in the pharmacy. I saw you sitting with your wife this week when I delivered meds to ICU. I was so sad when I got to work this morning and saw that she had passed. I noticed that it was just the two of you and my heart hurt for you. I want you to know each time I came into the ICU I would pray for you and your wife. You never know a person's circumstances & I am sorry that I didn't come in and talk with you. I did notice how hard your wife fought to get better. She must have been a very strong lady. What you were going thru that alone. I would be honored to come to your wife's service, however I have to work. You will be in my prayers and if there is anything you need we are here for you.

Paul....Although we are not there, please know our hearts are...I have many wonderful and fond memories of Ellie..Please know my heart hurts and I will hold her dearly in my memory and heart forever. we hope that your wonderful memories of Ellie will bring you comfort and peace during this very difficult time...with love and sympathy.. Mr. Tremblett, I do not know you nor do you know me. I have, however, visited your beautiful town and found the people to be lovely and warm. I am very sorry you have lost your wife, Eleanor, and am touched by your request of the community.
