Freeda Ellen Wimmer

October 12, 1931 - April 12, 2019

Freeda Ellen Wimmer, 87, of Copper Hill, passed away Friday April 12th, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband James “Dink” Wimmer. She is survived by 7 children; Charlotte (James) Austin, Susan (Steve) Smith, Ronald (Kathy) Wimmer, Ashley (Anita) Wimmer, Annette (Lynn) Mills, Connie (Steve) See, Michele Wimmer and special friend Betsy Draper. As well as 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Along with 3 siblings Claudine Wimmer, Yvonne Smith, and Wilson (Pee Wee) Williams. Visitation will be at Gardner Funeral Home on Monday April 15th from 6-8pm, and friends may call after 6 pm on Monday. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday 16th at Gardner Funeral Home with Mr. Harvey Nichols officiating Interment will follow in Copper Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery. So sorry to hear of Freeda's passing. I always enjoyed being around her, so nice and fun to talk to. A great aunt.

What a wonderful fun Aunt you were. Never a dull moment with you. So many great memories spending so much time with you in the summers, and living with you for two years after moving from Va Beach. Boy, the memories I have. Love you and will miss you greatly!!!
