Kenneth E. Lilly

Kenneth E. Lilly went to be with Jesus on May 5 following a long bout with his illness. He was deeply loved by his family including his wife of 52 years, Phyllis, daughter and son-in-law Kristi and Tony Williams and grandsons Max, Jack and John Williams. He had many extended family and friends who were very dear to him also. Ken was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and Air Force Reserves. He worked for more than 30 years at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant and his friendships with his colleagues endured to the present day. He had many dear friends at Great Oaks Country Club where he enjoyed playing golf with the seniors. We are thankful to all who have prayed for us, called, visited and shared encouragement throughout this time. Funeral services will be Monday May 13 at 11:00 AM at Gardener Funeral home with Rev. Marvin Wade officiating with interment to follow in Jacksonville Cemetery, friends may call Sunday May 12 from 4 to 6 PM at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be.
